Accessibility and ratings
Heads-up: a Main Gallery elevator notice with no year (checked Oct 17, 2026). The tickets page says the Main Gallery elevator is "out-of-service Through Sept. 13" and gives no year (American Visionary Art Museum tickets (opens in new tab), [Official]). It may be an old notice, but we couldn't confirm that, so call or email to check the elevator is working before you go. The visit page separately lists reduced admission for September 9–October 9, 2026, when the Main Building second floor was closed.
