New Jersey
New Jersey mixes science, art and history. Liberty Science Center in Jersey City has a level entrance and large elevators to each floor, with its own elevator up to the planetarium. At Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, the main paver path is accessible, and Access Mobile vehicles carry a wheelchair on a 45-minute tour of the grounds.
In Camden, Adventure Aquarium says it is fully accessible, with a Shark Shack tour for guests who can't cross Shark Bridge. Also in Camden, Battleship New Jersey's main deck, anti-aircraft guns and officers' wardroom are wheelchair accessible.
In West Orange, Thomas Edison National Historical Park has ramped entrances and an elevator to the 2nd and 3rd floors of the main laboratory building.
Check closing days before you set out, and book any tours ahead.
